Think about the blue collar working father of two who breaks his leg in an auto accident. This was not his fault and he will incur the costs of medical expenses and be out of work. His normal bills will continue to add up. Without attorney advertising this man wouldn't even think about hiring one due to the preconceived notion of the cost associated with a PI attorney. By advertising we make make this service accessible to him and his family. With any profession their are good and bad companies, but without advertising it wouldn't even be seen as an option for some of those in need. The media likes to sensationalize these isolated instances, but people should be reassured that the great majority of attorneys behave with the highest ethical standards.
